A pass-through SWR power meter can measure the high frequency power (traveling wave) going from the transceiver to the antenna, the high frequency power (reflected wave) going from the antenna to the transceiver, and SWR. The size of the reflected wave changes depending on the antenna matching condition and transmission output, but if the reflected wave becomes too large, the transceiver may malfunction or radio wave interference may occur. SWR (Standing Wave Ratio) represents the matching state of the antenna.

SWR: 1 means perfect matching and the reflected wave will be 0 watts regardless of the size of the transmitted output. Our antennas are guaranteed to have a performance of SWR: 1.5 or less (with some exceptions), but this may deteriorate due to the surrounding environment or changes over time. We recommend checking it out. Please also use a dummy load when accurately measuring the transceiver's transmission output.
